I spent many summers in the Laurentians staring at creatures and drew them in an imaginary beach bucket. The memories come from Trout Lake, Ste. Agathe, Lots of Lakes.

Fresh Water lakes are changing. Imagine a beach bucket with random foreign objects and various invasive species. The water is a bit turbid, with an oily film on the top, running up the sides of the bucket. Nearby sand is polluted, killing most plants, except for some invasive hardy species.
